The Grand is still becoming itself — and that’s part of the beauty. What began as a historic timber-frame hall is being carefully transformed into a venue unlike anything else near Charlotte: a place where modern design meets Southern hospitality, built by hand and guided by intention.
Right now, the process is in motion. You’ll see beams being restored, walls framed, finishes chosen, and beauty slowly taking shape across the property. Every day brings the vision a little closer to reality.
Hard-Hat Tours Coming Soon
We’ll begin offering private hard-hat tours once construction reaches a safe stage for visitors — currently projected for early 2026. These tours will give couples and planners an early look inside The Grand: the scale of the Grand Hall, the view from the lakeside ceremony site, and the dreamy atmosphere of the speakeasy vibe in The Cellar.
It’s a rare chance to see a venue mid-creation — to stand inside the vision before the doors officially open.
First Weddings: Fall 2026
Our calendar for Fall 2026 and beyond will open soon. These first celebrations will mark the beginning of The Grand’s story, hosted in a space built with craftsmanship, care, and quiet romance.
We’re accepting early inquiries now for both weddings and private events. When tours begin, couples on our list will be the first invited to schedule a walkthrough and reserve dates.
